Dozens and dozens of flavors of brats, fine cuts of meat, reasonable prices, LOCAL butcher shop. Just remember to get a ticket if you plan on getting anything from the case, guaranteed to be at least a few minute wait.
Our first trip to Louie's. It is the best butcher shop I have ever been in. Great meat selections. We purchased several packages of frozen brats and a dozen fresh brats. Also marinated chicken breasts and butterfly pork chops which we ate today. We felt it was worth the 120 mile round trip drive. I heard about this place several years ago. after having breakfast with a Wisconsin friend who raved about their brats we had to make the trip. We will be back again.
The best butcher shop around. We have never been disappointed with anything we have purchased at Louie's. We drive 80 miles round trip to shop here routinely.
My parents first told and fed us their incredible brats! The trip is over 2 hours away, but so worth the drive. Wonderfully helpful and friendly staff. Everything we have tried has been top notch!
